Anthony Gill is known widely as an engaging and entertaining public speaker that can address a wide range of audiences, from academic to the general public. He was the recipient of the University of Washington's Distinguished Teaching Award in 1999 and has given talks at places such as Harvard, Princeton, U of Chicago, Georgetown, Duke, Baylor, U of Michigan, Emory, Creighton, McGill, U of Toronto, and Koc University (Istanbul), among other places. He has also presented at the Mont Pelerin Society, the American Institute for Economic Research, and is a regular speaker at the Institute for Humane Studies.
